this is the second time i've had a small cold in the three weeks we have been in school. (SHOUT OUT TO TEENAGE BACTERIA- thanks -_- )
i hate that awkward moment when taking quiz/test and the room is completely quit & everyone has the sniffles and once sniff it's like a chain reaction.... sorry random thought.
school is school though. it's been an alright year..3 weeks. well i'm taking spanish 3 and considering i lost the spanish textbook it's pretty impossible!? it's alright i'll get through it somehow. i am taking a photography class and we are supposed to develop film in the dark room this week. EXCITEMENT

YAYYY!! it's my birthday today! well, considering it's 11:25 i guess you could say it's not really anymore.

my day was perfect! started off going to ihop with my brothers and mama. my daddy couldn't make it since of work (stupid mondays)! learned that it's better off buying your meal first, then order more food once you're done. yeah, pigs in a blanket...my weakness!!!on our way back we stopped and took some quick photos in front of a black barn. the bros didn't want to stay long, plus, it's 90+ degrees out with obsolutely no breeze. so to describe the weather outside....death. i need to live in a state where the seasons are perfect! fall and spring are the best, but then there's summer. where all you do is stay either in a pool or in a house with air conditioning. i guess it's the same dealio with winter too?

(sorry, that was so off topic!) we got home and my mom and i took a nap...ihop wiped us out! once 'naptime' was over we took more pictures, this time without the boys. we went behind a school where it is so pretty! it had a creek and a bridge and some wooden picnic benches. we bought one little red balloon to take pictures with & i painted 'be happy' on. the sky was beautiful and then it just got dark. storm cluds were coming. it was lightning and thundering! but noooooo that didn't stop us hehe! no lighting/thunder/drizzle stops us from photographing! well not until it starts to get bad!

thennnn i ended the lovely day with a yummy cake. and may i say it had to be the cutest cake EVER?

since school has gotten out i still feel like i've been verrryy busy. i have comitted to being a 'nanny' this summer. i must say that whole 'nanny' label, yeah, i don't like it. makes me feel older than i am. watching these two kiddos isn't the worst. amazingly, i have fun with them! (of course) they are younger than me, but we have a lot a fun. whether it's at the pool, playing wii, or going to the village for some ice cream...it's a great time!

time well spent with my frands!! my friends AMBER & MORGAN ....and I had a great day hanging out side. other than it was so flipping hot out it was great. we were walking to the park from my house; we were out for (max) 15 minutes and were seriously desperate for anything to drink. so we randomly were on home owners porch ( we knew the owners.....we're not that random) on a swing for about a minute and they came out and stared at us. our response was...can you give us some water please? we're coool right?

okay, so ONE thing i'm craving right now is spring. warm weather PLEASE COME! i've been stuck inside school and my house for tooo long. we recently had a snow storm and we were out of school for ten days. yeah...it was fun the first few days then it was just getting old. all i wanted was the snow and ice to melt. then, randomly, yesterday snow came down. woo. happily it didn't stick! so tired of coldness..SPRING..sigh

so lately the weather is getting warmer during the middle of winter?! awh. i love it though! hopefully it will continue to be like this!
on friday it was a beautiful day outside, which means (of course) shopping/photoshooot day for the mama and i! love thos kinds of days! we took a visit to downtown and went to a pretty area!! it was perfect. we went shopping at urban outfitters (latest obssession)! i bought tons of things/clothes for myself!! YAY *big smile* ....amazing day!

SO lately my mom and i have been likin'....okay not gunna lie, but pretty much obssessive over ANTHROPOLOGIE. i wish i could every piece of clothing and objects in that store. gets me frustrated really when i want too many things.
BUT i didn't create this post to nag or anything..?
we got these SUPERRR pretty spools (sorta) and we thought they were just for decoration, because fabric was twirled around the spools. then it turned out you could untwirl the fabric (genius right?)

after the 'obvious' we used it to make a graland in my parents room!

(also used tinsel and my mom finger knitted)we added some accessories to appear more festive! ta da....the end

today was a chill day.
it was one of those days when you wake up to the pitter patter on the roof and know it's a yucky and cold day? those amazing lazy days with your hair up and carefree about everything. so i basically spent my day watching the Harry Potter marathon weekend event with my blanket wrapped around me on the couch. best way to spend a sunday right? well for me anyways...
also i decorated some more in my room! also, read. i am starting to read the twilight saga again. woo. i don't know why, maybe just for the heck of it. i'm honestly not much of a reader or use to be. I guess those books just kept dragging me along that i couldn't stop reading them. i'm not one of those crazy fans at all!!! or am i? no, truthfully i'm not. maybe ONE day i'll decide to start reading the books that i collect on my bedside table/shelf.

thanksgiving was wonderful and hope all was well for everyone!
i've gone a full week of 'back to school' mode. now just two more weeks....ten days! hopefully i can do this without stressed over school work and the anxiety over the winter break! i'm seriously SOO excited for this break.

alright. some how i need to fit some holiday shopping in. annnd because i cannot drive i'm thinking online holiday shopping is the way to go, no? today, well actually yesterday(it's a bit past midnight) i got to decorate my room all lovely for the holiday spirit!! AHH yesss i'm pretty much in love with my amazing decorating skills, if i do say so myself! and basically because of the start of the new season i'm really looking forward to a winter-ish photoshooot??!peace out

yeaaah. it's true. my mom and i drove on down to the laundromat just to wash a sleeping bag, then somehow we ended up having a mini-photoshoot? (just for the time to pass)
it was great! everyone who was there just kind of checked us out for a quick second and went back to their laundry like everything was casual!this is what i like to call, pure fun.
oh, and after sitting in the rollin basket there was a sign that said "do NOT let children play with carts!" ....oops. oh well.

you'll never know what you might do at a laundromat in just an hour...

the latest new pages! okay...lately scrapbooking with just scraps is the way to go. i usually never cut a 12x12 sheet of pretty paper. now, i just go straight to my 'scraps folder.' its amazing what i can create with just little pieces of pattern paper?!
summer is over. school is here. mmmm...high school already?! i'm phsyched for a change and to meet new people! my summer has been CUHHH-RAZAY with spending amazing time with my friends and family! okkayy i must say best part about "school" is school supply shopping! who knows why, but i love getting organized for the school year.
(and oh...it's about time, i no longer have braces!!!) ew to the metal-ness in my mouth! i l.o.v.e smiling, because now you actually see teeth and not brackets and wires!

WOAH....it is pouring right now! lightning every other ten seconds then BOOM there goes the roaring thunder! this is what i love about this season! STORMS ARE THE BEST! i love just to go out on the balcony and watch the sky light up.
anyhow, i felt that i accomplished a few things today?? ya....i did!

-cleaned shelves
-decorate wall some more!
-majorly clean my room!!
-got rid of my scrapbook albums and just have pages in the protectors with rings
-got wifi on new itouch (lost my old ipod on a two day trip for school on the bus...tear)

-took pictures
-annnnd of course BLOG!Journaling: it's my favorite thing to do. sometimes I just like to be alone...everywhere i am i love down time; it washes everything away. It's the time to think & to do what i like to do. ALL i want to do is just to let go & relax! just hang/taped a few more things up to make it more complete! :)well....as you can see, this is my new and improved ipod...it's an itouch!! YAY! parents gave it to me for the last day of school/graduation/whatever! i'm quite obsessed right now with it!the dark blue is the necklace my mom and i made today! made it the same like the mustard colored necklace. bought wooden beads from craft store. and bought colored dye. threaded wood beads on wire then dipped in dye (in bowl). let dry then put on thread. on the navy blue i added strips of lace to add something special!oh we are such nerds?? yeahh! oh mannn......this is just who we are and another collage i decided to put together, once again.
here was my previous one. okaayyy....well it's time for me to get my sleep! my family and i are going to a ceremony to listen to someone speak for memorial day! thank you to all that has served for our country.have a great day/night!!

uhh....it's about time! school is out for summmmmer! woah...i am super DUPER excited for this summer! i feel that it's going to be great!ohh summer nights...

well it's about time for springtime to come! i'm so sick of cold and snow. we usually never get snow, but it has snowed three times and i just can't stand coldness! i'm not going to lie, when coldness comes around i'm such a baby!!!
on the bright side spring is around the corner and i'm so anxious for warmer weather! every little detail about spring i love so much...the birds chirping in the morning, gardening, dresses, sunshine, flowers blooming! uhmmm! YIPPPEEE!

I'm off to the wonderful city Sarasota Florida with my mom!
I'm so exstatic right now, but also very sad that my brothers and dad won't be joining us on the trip :(

"I hope we don't get lost" were my first words when we pulled out of the garage haha! Usually my dad drives and he knows his way like no ones business! So now it's a girl trip and I can't wait til the warmer weather...right now it has been snowing. Yesterday the family and I went sleding,which was hilarious watching everyone tumbling down the hill while I survived!
Well I will probably do some more blogging hopefully on this trip and when I arrive home post pictures my mom took from this trip and the snowy days!
Alrighty time for the looooooong car ride (eight hrs). This will be a very long drive? I think yes!

a good-bye and a warm hello

it's a fare-well to this holiday time. :(
so sad! i took down my christmas tree in my room and the rest of my christmas decorations in my room! i've been wanting to learn how to make paper snowflakes,some really cool looking ones. the trick to making them is all in the fold, and the first cut. i said googbye to the first ones i tried (2nd grade-ish), and worked on my technique. it becomes quite messy, and addicting. next season, i plan on seriously hanging them all over my room.if anyone is looking for a good book to read, i recommend Dear John, by Nicholas Sparks. i read it in 2 days, and really enjoyed it. (it actuallly made me cry) looking forward to see the movie, and channing tatum. hehe! I need to get started on Lovely Bones, before the movie comes out. the previews looked pretty intense.

news year's eve i spent the night with my girlfriends, and cheered on the new year. i don't have a new year promise to make myself. well, maybe just to read more. Last year i did a better job of reading every night. i can't say I don't have books, because I'm pretty much backed up with books. i'm having a difficult time completing Angels and Demons. my cousins gave me that for my birthday LAST year, and i just can't read that one at night. every time my mom want to rent that dvd, i tell her no, because i need to finish that book!!!!!!

great.....the next week is supposed to be in the 40's. which means the nights are in the teens. is it too soon to ask for warmer weather? i think winter has just arrived. YIKES! (thank you to my bros for my scarf,hat,and mittens)

it is absolutely freezing outside today!! i really don't like cold weather, but dressing for it.....it's alright! i was walking outside and oh em gee!!! walking toward where the wind is blowing is not fun....i seriously could not feel my face!any way, break is here! NO MORE SCHOOL....for two weeks at least! i'm so happy! during these two weeks i'm going to try to accomplish a lot more!

thought i show you more progress on my goal of getting more organized. i've been using plastic hangers for a long time now, and now i think it's time to step up. wood....i think, is just a lot more sturdier than those plastic ones. now i still want to work on my closet making it PERFECT and organized.

my break has come to an end! the week i had off was fantastic! i accomplished some things i've been wanting to for a long time now! now i have that feeling, you know.......when you are so happy that is no longer on your 'to-do list'

this week i played with photoshop some more. hmmmm. i don't think i will be able to get a hang of it, but hey...i gotta keep trying!

and for once i really think my room is complete now! yesterday my mom helped me decorate/hang things on an empty wall space in my room! at first it just seemed like a little lonely white wall, but now it's fun and so me! i love it! i don't have any pictures to show you right now, so i am going to try and get some by tomorrow!!! (the wall is inspired by miss kara)

with the week off from school i was able to do some scrapbooking, which i haven't done in quite some time! alright, i am seriously going to get some sleep. the school week begins tomorrow! i'm gunna miss sleepin in. can't wait to hear that alarm go off at 7! :(

i've been keeping busy making small handmade projects to sell in my mom's booth. last month was a pretty good month with all that was sold. i was happy to sell one of my paintings. i also sold out of these cute knitted wristoh oh oh......there are matching neck warmers with them!YAY!
every color i knit my mom always asks....."can i have this one?"
me- "uhh, no mom. i thought we agreed to sell them!"
mom- "i know, but i like this color."
ohhh goshh mom!

i'm going to put these pretty canvases in the booth for this month. hopefully, these lovlies will hang on someone's wall. well, i must get to knitting my last neck warmer and then its ZZZZ(s) for me! have a wonderful week!

white, white, & more white!
oh my gosh.....i love this color so much! this just might be a little strange blogging about the color of white. but i thought that i should share my love of white!
it is a color that is so pretty and simple!! you can do so much with it.

finally a nice fall day. october has been a very cold and wet month.
it was such a pretty day that my mom and i decided to take an hour drive to go to a pumpkin patch to take a few pictures! well.....apparently everyone thought it was a fine day to go also. IT WAS PACKED! packed as in like it was impossible to take a single picture without having someone in a shot! i believe that my mom and i were the only ones with a tripod. ok......and a remote HA!we thought this lady was hiding a pumpkin under her shirt....but she was really pregnant wearing an orange shirt! :)

wednesday and thursday of last week i had tryouts for volleyball. friday, i received the news that i made the regional team! i am SO excited...i'm really enjoying playing this sport!

the cool, windy days. the leaves changing colors. the layering of clothes. homemade pies. i absolutely love this season!(went to a local farmer to help his business. bought four interesting pumpkins!)

my room is complete! the walls are a creamy white and it looks super pretty! i love it. i enter a place of my own and it's so relaxing! { taken with Digital SLR }i made the letters LOVE TODAY with newspaper. cut the letters out, and pasted them onto black cardstock.....it took some time! yes, it's the name of this blog...but i really like the meaning of these two words group together. annnndd the MAC! my dad is currently teaching me some techniques with photoshop. not so easy. i barely remember the things he showed me. although it's amazing the things you can do with this program. it's wonderful. (i mentioned 4, but someone came in my room and took 1)

just finished knitting a neck warmer for my mom. (post pictures soon.....) i think it turned out really cute. thinking about making more as gifts.

just thought i'd come by and share a scrapbook page i whipped up really early yesterday. it took me about twenty minutes! (scrapped my new room)

today i got the paint. and my dad has been painting my room this whole day...it's half way through, and it looks so pretty! i cannot wait til it's complete and the furniture is back in.

FALL IS HERE!!! today i could tell that it is here. i love this season.....it's very inspiring!

it drives me insane when i know i should blog, but i don't have a clue what to write about! yesterday my mom and i chose to get out of the house the whole day, because of football games on the television screen! we'd rather not listen to all the hollering. so my day started bright and early.....well not so bright because it was raining and dark outside. we left to visit a friend at the flea market. we hung out there for a few hours browsed through. not so much luck though....just an old ruler (mom's), and a old shabby crate that will be going in my room. (see picture below) there are many uses for this crate. right now it's an organizer for my journals.

speaking of my room. this shows my lack of blogging!

i am in the stage of picking out the paint color for my wall. i'm going with a white....but i'm not sure on the exact color! i have 20 different swatches of white to choose from. who knew white would be a difficult color of choice. yes, white is kind of plain and boring. i want my room to be simple, yet classic!

BACK TO YESTERDAY. after we left the flea market, my mom drove us to starbucks. after one pumpkin spice latte, and one mocha frappuchino we were ready to keep on moving. for all of you who haven't had a chance to catch up on a movie flick......i highly recommend watching Julie & Julia. (you can never have too much butter)

lately i've been using a my mom's nikon digital slr and i love using the tripod with the remote/timer. i'm sure you all know how satisfying it is to see the instant results through the lcd. i showed my mom some of my flickr favorites and i asked if she owned any film cameras. YES!
she owns two film cameras that i can use. a new passion. a new hobby. a new beginning.

i haven't much time to scrapbook or to create. school is back in full force, and i have homework overload! :[ i guess no homework on weekends would be wishful thinking. went to the first high school game, and hung out with friends on friday. the rest of the weekend was just concentrating on my school projects. i feel like i'm being punished. (you know pretty much locked in my room)

i decided to take a break. well, not much of a break...i spent about 20 minutes making this cute flower brooch. i guess going through my mom's magazines (for school project) isn't bad at all. below is what i found from her martha stewart mag. hmmm... maybe christmas presents. i think it would be cute attached to a jean jacket, a simple purse (that could use a little prettiness), or a headband.

here are the steps if you are unable to read it.
1. a machine baste or hand baste.
2. Gently pull unknotted end of thread while pushing trim.
3. secure until trim resembles a carnation/flower.
4. cut a circle of felt, attach to back of flower; then glue a pin to the felt. i guess i know what i'm wearing tomorrow!

ugh......it's been so long. everytime i get on the computer i think about blogging, but it's just never happened! and i've been sort of busy this week because of school. it's already been a week and i'm ready for it to end! i know that sounds really terrible. so far the only thing enjoyable about school is clothes shopping (of course). i have so many things i want to share that has been going on in my life!

FINALLY, yes finally. i am getting used to wearing contacts. i had a little trouble with finding the right fit for my blind eyeballs. i can't see a thing without some kind of prescription for my eyes. well , let's just say that wearing contacts is much better than wearing the rubberbands on my braces. thank you to my ortho who said, "no more rubberbands".

well i have mentioned before that i've been dying for a room make-over and so.....it's happening! yesterday my mom and dad started helping me re-arrange/re-do/re-organize my room! it is lovely! i'll post pictures of the fresh, new room when completed!

i miss california a lot already! we had an awesome time over there.

i loved taking long drives looking out the window. those drives took hours, but i didn't mind.all the places we visited were amazing! i didn't want to leave any of them! SAN FRANCISCO!!!! the coolest city i've ever been to! we drove to san francisco every week. i love that city. it's so interesting......the people and buildings.
even though it was the middle of june, you always need a sweatshirt......and a rubberband for you hair!! (especially walking the golden gate bridge!!) the outstanding people in san fran: ohhhh yes. every time i would turn my head i would see someone performing or being a statue!

we drove through Chinatown. it was interesting to see how they live in their environment. it is a fascinating city!!and right over the golden gate is what i like to call "my city." Sausalito. i want to move to this beautiful town soooo much! we drove up and down the roads. the houses were outstanding!! (my mom and i were hoping someone would offer a tour.....ha!) *sigh*

hello everyone! i finally had a chance to get on my bloggity blog, and type a quick message. can't post a blog without sharing some of my pictures. i have been very busy trying to see all the sights. there is something to do in every city. our first week here; we drove to san francisco. pier 39 was a lot of fun. they have these sea lions that dock right by the pier. they were loud, stinky, and fun to watch. on a different day we went back to san francisco, but went over the golden gate bridge. it was pretty awesome. i have always seen it in pictures, and from a distance. when you go over it, it definitely is a sight worth seeing. everywhere you look people are riding their bikes, walking or skateboarding. once you go over the golden gate bridge, you hit a beautiful city called sausalito. i call it "my city", because someday, i would love to live there. the homes are nestled in the hills overlooking the water. it's beautiful!!!!! yesterday we drove to palo alto and visited Stanford University!"my city"
Stanford!!!! w.o.w! hoover tower was AMAZING! the view was unbelievable.....you got to overlook the whole university!

til my departure to san francisco!! very exciting! i haven't seen my family in two years. we are the only ones who moved outside the state of california. can't wait for the hot days and cool nights!as you can see....there was a 'photo shoot' today! (three in a row!!) i really enjoy reading this childrens' book. i totally recommend it for kids......i still read it anyway.....lots of interesting facts about the famous san fran.

first photoshoot! i've been on flickr so much lately!! i've been looking at soooo many creative photographers! ie: olivia bee, chrissie white, and anna amphigorously.second photoshoot. (this one was my favorite) i really liked how these turned out! ha.....my mom and i actually drove to kroger to buy balloons that match my outfit! (balloons aren't just for birthdays)red barn. an abandoned building covered in kudzu (a wild vine).me and my shadow. fun fun funnn!!!! more HERE.

and the very last photoshoot today. another thing, i scrapbooked!! it's been a very long time since i have! i scrapbooked my bros.

for SO many things!

1..........my brothers, my mom, and i are going to fly to california to visit my wonderful family!!! i am soooo happy! i can't wait! my dad is staying behind for work, though, it won't be the same without them. we will be there for three weeks. after we get back i'll be going with my friends and their family on a trip for a week!! busy summer?

2. craft time.......i love it! (SO much)
NEW PAINTING! i painted this for my aunt's coffee shop. (visiting the shop in cali) drew these cute girls on 2.5" x 3.5" artists trading cards. i love the size sooooo much!

3. TUBE SOCKS!!
these are too cute! my friend bought them for me last month and now i love how you could wear them. some pictures i found here. 4. writable mugs. oh, yes. my mom bought this for me at Starbucks last week. it's so cool. 5. photography. gotta love it. flickr is the most inspiring source for amazing photography. i love to look at peoples' outstanding photos. they inspire me SO much. we spent yesterday at a national cemetary. they had a pretty cool ceremony for memorial day. my grandpa served in WWII. we fly the american flag...thanking you grandpa, and all that have served. [the day was overcast, but the temperature was nice.]the sun finally came through, and the sky was beautiful. my brothers, and i always get a little something on the last day of school. this was in my giftbag. i just love this one!!!! you can never have too many journals. i love to read, write, and of course doodle. (leather journal with an embossed owl)

hi. i've been getting complaints that i don't blog often enough.
i have been so busy lately hanging with friends and family, and wanting to do some things on my "to-do" list that really i've had no interest to blog.

today is my wonderful mother's birthday!! i love her soooo much! she means the world to me! she inspires my everyday life.HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, I LOVE YOUUUUU!

mother's day was an awesome day! we drove downtown and went to an outdoor pizza place. we weren't able to eat outside because it started raining, but inside was still fun. my brothers and i watched the chef throw the pizza dough in the air and catch it.....it kept us entertained! (umm...i have to say, that was the best pizza i've ever tasted).yummm. (mom's) after our lunch we headed to the mall and shopped! home. so when we were done shopping....we headed home and (of course) had a little 'photoshoot.' nothing better :) gabriel and mom. i LOVe this one of her and i. her 'recycled' bag we got her for mother's day!

a person can be inspired just about everyday. dontcha agree?!

1. these sunglasses make me smile. i love all the different styles and colors. these are just cheapies that hopefully will last a summer season. i like being able to display them in my room.2. color, color, color! i loved making this collage. i was on this blog just us, and loved her collage that she posted. i thought it would be fun to do, and i really like what i came up with. i look forward to doing more collages like this one. my mom and i were searching everywhere in my room for an item of the colors green, blue, white & black! kind of a challenge.

3. i was flipping through a domino magazine (which was their last issue) boo-woo for my mom, when i came across this target ad featuring orla kiely (which i used in my collage). i decided to tag along (what else is new) with my mom when she mentioned she was headed to target for the basics. now i'm in LOOOOVe with the designs!(my breakfast today) bagel with cream cheese and some OJ! another thing i brought home from target...... recycled too!

4. hambly!! i've been enjoying working with hambly. i wasn't a big fan of the transparencies, but all of a sudden i've been hooked on them!
supplies........5. new journal & anthro!!this journal is from anthropologie. it's SOOO pretty. anthropologie is my 'new' favorite store. i just love it when i walk in and see the new displays. (that's my favorite part!).........some of the inspiring displays! a 'recycled' beehive!!!! (made with plastic bags)

i decided to share my Sarasota pictures. if any of you bloggers need to find a place to head to for the summer, remember Sarasota, FL! i really recommend it to everyone. it's a great getaway, and you won't regret it.

the trees were amazing. i could just sit and read a book under any one of these trees.spanish moss was everywhere in florida....so pretty. the sand...the water...the temperature...this is one of the prettiest beaches. i don't think my pictures do this beach (Lido Beach) justice.
annnnd gabe. he always destroys the sand castles we make.these are my two favorite pictures from the trip! more pics here.

happy EARTH day!!! today is that day where you adore this planet! (my family tries very hard to go GREEN)!! i mean in reality, we all should love our planet earth everyday. there are many ways that everyone can do their part in helping the environment. here is a short list of ways to help keep things from heading to landfills. landfills create pollution! if we recycle, it would create more jobs.

1. no more plastic/paper bags (you can pretty much buy recycle bags everywhere you go for $1)

2.plastic bottles are a big no, no. (use an aluminum bottle for your water/liquids)

3.aluminum cans always should be recycled. (check with your local schools, they can have a recycle bin placed outside of the school, and proceeds can go back to the school)

4.magazines, phonebooks, catalogs, newspapers & brochures can all be recycled. (start filling an empty box with all your old/unused magazines...) find out where there is a recycle bin to empty your box contents in.

5. glass bottles (find out where there is a recycle bin) there is brown, clear and green glass.

6. clothing/toys (donate whatever you have no use of, there is always someone who may be in need)

7. Go paperless -bills (less paper means less cutting down trees)

8. refill ink cartridges (sometimes color is difficult, but no problem for black) and it costs less than $5.

9. recyclable lunch sacks (cute and functional ;)

10. remember the high gas prices?! (cut back on unnecessary errarnds)

if we all chip in, and do our part; we can make a difference. When you go to the recycle center (it's free), you will leave feeling so good about yourself.

who says not to save your foam trays form the grocery store? they might come in handy!
this is what i use to pour my paint on!! (i have a whole stash of them). my so called 'paint palet'.
my organic bag!! love it! my mom got it for me because of the owls, of course, but also it is organic cotton! like i said......my family = green people!! (read caption above). :) my eco friendly journal......it says "the pages are made from 70% post-consumer waste and printed with nontoxic ink."

we can all lend a hand to save our home! go green!! always recycle! what's your favorite color? :D

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!look what the easter bunny brought me this morning!! hehe!
oh yes.....home sweet home!!
we got back from florida around ten o'clock at night! there was a lot of traffic and we drove through a storm....we even had a tornado warning! i couldn't sleep on the way home so i was watching the lightning turn the sky purple. pretty.

(i have lots and lots of photos to come.........next post, this post would get too photo heavy)!

the day before we left for florida i scrapped another page!! also, i started a new painting!!

a beautiful season

happy spring!! finally spring is officially here! our spring break started friday. a whole week without homework or studying for tests!! the weather has been really nice lately...it was so warm and sunny yesterday (we were outside a lot)! yesterday, since it was a beautiful day, my dad and brothers layed some grass out. we haven't had grass for months, but everytime we do it dies so quickly!
dad working early in the morning! my mom and i went to Wolf Camera yesterday and got some new pictures to scrapbook. afterwards we went to two antique stores to find a desk.....once again no luck!
here are some (random) pictures from yesterday! :)oh gabe. he was burning his plastic army men, since it was sunny out! ha!
look at this truck!!! i would love to have this as a truck! it has such a pretty color!!

today we are looking for a place to stay at in florida! let's cross our fingers for good weather. i love waking up early and driving. road trips are the BEST!

today was a rainy day! i woke up from the rain drizzling on the roof, and it is still continuing! you can here thunder here and there. we've been having rain for four days! well, you know what they say....spring showers, bring may flowers!! we need the rain, though!

TODAY:
1. looky, looky...antique store eye candyi love this typewriter!!! the baby blue is so pretty! $50...out of my price range.(call me) thank goodness for push buttonsmy mom and i found this desk for me!! i really like it! it will fit perfectly in my room! paint it and fix it up a bit.......perfection! $125-still not the one she has in mind for me. :) this was my favorite book to read when i was younger! my dad gave this book to me as a gift when he came home from boston! he use to read it to me at night!

as exhausting as it was, i'm glad to see this week end. too many tests in a week, is that allowed?! i thought for sure that i bombed my science test...got the grade today, and it was a 92% . hip hip hooray!

spring break is around the corner, and not sure if my family is going anywhere. the beach sounds like it would be a great getaway. if we stay home, i'm sure my mom will think of some things for us to do (she always does)!

hello. i love waking up early on the weekends.i had a very short week. i missed two days of school because i wasn't feeling well. and we had friday off, so really i had two days in school (for me). i spent the whole day with my friends on thursday and spent the night!
yesterday with our day off, my mom took me, my brothers, and their friends to see Race to Witch Mountain! (it was very good)

today i'm going to create a scrapbook page, and i've been wanting to paint....so i think i'll start getting some ideas flowing! i'm so excited to paint!!! i just need some ideas in my head to get creating!

well, today i'm staying home from school. i'm not feeling so great. i've been coughing soooo much, and yesterday i used up a whole tissue box! yea....i feel so yucky!

friday night i had a ceremony at my school to go to. i was elected in the Junior Beta! i had a lot of fun with my friends! my mom and i. dad and i. bella and morgan!!! katie and jordan! i love them all!!!! my closest friends! oh, so pretty!
my parents gave me the very pretty roses after the ceremony!! (my mom put them in this "bucket" in my room). how to arrange roses.......if you have troubles!!

have you heard jason mraz's new album?!! L-O-V-E. it's soooo good!my mom and i always listen to him driving places!! i love the song "lucky" finished eclipse a week and a half ago, i think! ha! i cannot believe i'm on the fourth book because i'm not much of i reader! i admit, i am afraid (i guess) of big books!! but, not anymore. i have read the first 3, and now onto the last one in the series. i feel like that was an accomplishment for myself. i admit....i love my bed!! my dad hung those "christmas" lights! i use them for you know......late night studying and reading! i love them, but without the curtains it would be too bright for me!

this weekend has went by so fast! i'm so happy it's fridayyy!! TGIF

well here are those cookies my mom and i made!! ha! this picture cracks me up, because you can see those empty spaces where cookies were.....my mom and i couldn't resist! this is what you get when you combine peanut butter cookies with hershey kisses=delicious treat (this time we had to bake two batches, but still gone in two days! WOW!) well of course mr. weatherman was correct, we did get some snow here. it wasn't enough to build a snowman, just a pretty sight falling from the sky. one week later, and it's almost warm enough to wear shorts...strange?!umm, yea! i can't wait til spring!!!!!!! closer and closer to summer!time for these!! can't wait to wear colorful spring colors and accessorize!! i want to buy a bunch of colorful sunglasses this year!

this weekend i'm going to paint!! i have set my goal: paint at least one canvas! i've been wanting to paint for a long time!
then i'm going to finish my book. (maybe) like the bookmark?!!! nice....huh? sock monkeys rule!! i want a real one! i found a website how to make them, but i don't think i want to make one. just for fun, for anyone who wants to try! how to make a sock monkey.tomorrow my mom and i are going to the flea market! i'm searching for a new desk/table, to paint! i've been looking for a new one for a very long time!! something to do my art on and put my laptop on!
oh, annnnd my dad is teaching me how to use photoshop on the mac this weekend! yessssss.....i've been waiting patiently!

lately i've felt sooo creative and inspired! i've been searching the web for ideas for taking pictures and making new art!
yesterday my mom drove me to an art store and it was beautiful!!!! it was huge! one wall was covered with canvases in all sizes! so many colorful paints, brushes, and pallets! it was truly amazing! my mom bought me three new canvases and new set of paint! it's called Blick Art Materials, a candy store for artists. unfortunately, i left my camera behind, and didn't get to snap some photos of that great store. it's a must see if you have one in your area.

here is a blog/website that i found earlier this week and now i'm in love with it! loves! bluebird vintage. i love the fashion.....it's very unique!

yesterday i finished a scrapbook page of my friend....katie! i kinda made it valentine--ish with the hearts and the pink! just to get in the spirit!!! later today my mom and i went to the mall. got a new shirt from delia's. then we went into Starbucks and got myself a mocha frappuccino....mhmm. after we went to go see Coraline in 3-D. it was really good! i read the book some years ago!

i have been trying to use my time wisely, when it comes to scrapbooking. I usually take a good bit of time on a page. with my last two pages, i have really tried to concentrate on my design. sometimes simplifying is the answer. maybe going through all my stash is just too much. i guess you can say...that i go through fazes. i remember that i couldn't go without using my chipboard, then there was my rub on faze. here is a page that i finished today. i had 30 minutes to fit this in my day. we had to get ready for my little bro's b-day party. my inspiration for this page was ms. Rachel. here is the page i got the great idea from!

this weekend has been another good weekend for my "Twilight" reading. i am really enjoying this book. i hope to read the rest of the saga!

my mom finished the scarf she made for me!! it looks adorable! hmmmm.....she's not bad, what do you think?warm and cute...i love it! thanks mom you're the best!! i think orange is my new color!haha! since my mom takes all the photos with her camera she's always left out in pictures! so while i was in school i guess she decided to use my webcam and take some!! this is what i came home and found!! :)

during the weekend i guess you could say that my mom and i had a little "photoshoot". i was changing outfits constantly. here are some of my favorites! i've been reading twilight! yessss, my mom gave it to me friday night! and so far....i'm lovin' it!

happy friday!!just wanted to say a quick hello! so glad the week is over and now it's the weekend!

annndd now for my completed scarf!! i decided this picture was the best of my mom wearing the scarf i made for her! perfect time to give it to her it because of the cold weather.
for anybody who has never tried knitting before, i totally recommend it!! just be patient because it can take a while for your first try!! as a beginner, you start knitting and you also start unraveling. it takes patience and practice. ps......i've started to knit a new scarf! oh, and my mom is finishing up her scarf (for me) right now!! she's going to put pom-poms at the ends of the scarf!! CUTE...eeep!

is it just me, or does everyone else feel like weekends aren't long enough? i guess there is never enough time for creating. i am glad i got a couple things accomplished.

happy new year!!! it's time for a fresh new start! i've made a list of my goals for this year already!i started to learn more about knitting !!! i looove it! one of my mom's friends taught me a couple of years ago, but i never continued doing it!! I came upon this blog silje, and she wrote how she picked up on knitting. she mentioned she learned it from you tube. now she has knitted many different things. she makes it look so easy!! she's all sold out on her etsy, but here is a link of what she has knitted: http://flickr.com/photos/ohxcrap/sets/72157608400502335/

i'm currently knitting a scarf for my mom (it was supposed to be x-mas present, but i didn't finish in time). january is one of the coldest months, so i'm sure she will be able to wear it.i hope that in the future i will be able to knit mittens and hats. some red needles were in my stocking this x-mas. (thank you mrs. claus) ;)

now my mom is starting to knit (she is right beside me...knitting)!! she bought bamboo needles (that she loves), and burnt orange color yarn!! mine is the dark brown!! i'm almost finished!!! right now it's about 4 feet long!

today i a package came from elsie!!!! my mom ordered her prints on her etsy. love them! thanks mom, i love youuuu! i hope your christmas was merry, and look forward to a great new year!

yup, i know!! i'm a total slacker!!! lot of my friends and family ask, "when are you going to post on your blog" & "bianca, where have been?" and i'm sorry!!
so now i have a lot to tell you!!

here is that scrapbook page i promised!! (i just forgot to mention it in the last post). i made this page because my mom and i always go to flea markets so i thought it needs a page to bring back those memories!

this is our christmas tree!! every year we get a real tree!! we decorate it in the evening while watching christmas movies on tv. we've had it up for a while now, but i didn't get any pictures to share before!
aren't those homemade ornaments ECO-FRIENDLY??? they're cute too!! my older brother got scraps of wood from a tree and drilled a hole in them for my mom to hang!! he's so nice!

saturday was the last day of elsie's online class :(! i will miss it so much!!! it was a great experience! i had a blast doing every project, well.....i still have a couple of projects to do, like 3-4.
here's a stocking i made! it was one of the projects! it's so cute!! and inexpensive! this is another one of the projects!! it's NOT a normal hairstyle for me, but i likey?!
i would usually NEVER wear this in public at all, but i did yesterday at the flea market!!

two days ago my dad took out my closet doors to spray them chalkboard paint!!! so today they just got done drying!! now i'm always going to doodle on them!! i would have never have done that without him! thanks dad!! i love youuuu! haha! that OMgosh i got from elsie!!
can you believe it?!! just three more days!! i'm sooo excited!! i love this holiday season!!!

oh my my my!!! i did it again!! once again it's been a while since i've posted! i thought right now was a great time to blog, because my family and i just finished decorating the christmas tree(i will share when i get some pictures), and now watching the 25 days of christmas!! i l-o-v-e this time of year!

last week my mom helped me decorate my room!! it's so pretty and clean now!

this is one of the projects i did from elsie's class! such a cute idea! it's *festive* garland!!
and this is MY tree in my bedroom! mostly vintage! it has a cute little town below it!

hi everyone! happy wednesday!

i wanted to share with you the projects i've made over the thanksgiving break!

these are felt books! very cute and fun! i followed elsie's step by step directions, and created these fun books. a piece a felt, embroidery thread, and coin envelopes, that was all that was needed to make these sweet books. i think i'm going to keep my old movie tickets of all the movies that i have gone to see. in the other i might put wallet size pictures and journal what the pictures mean to me! i can do some journaling on the envelopes. i also added some 3x5 index cards in between some of the mini envelopes. (that need to be trimmed to fit)
the other project that i completed are little toy dolls. they were very fun to create! these toy dolls are so cute! i used scupley clay, wood balls, and acrylic paint. (i even named them: lima, soul, honey, ruby, and guitarra) hehe!sigh. mhmm.

that is all that i wanted to share today. i'm working on a scrapbook page, i'll share later in the week!

oh, and for my special little cousin, happy 6th birthday!!! may all your birthday wishes come true! i miss you!

Project 10 -elsie's online class is now complete. i am so pleased with the outcome of this special piece of canvas. i have hung it up in my room, to remind me of the holiday season. i think the raw wood frame is perfect for this special fawn. elsie's online class provided me with the pattern. all that was needed is a piece of canvas, and embroidery floss. the only embroidery that i have done, has been on scrapbook pages. so this is my first big embroidery project.

i pretty much look like this fawn, with the red nose. i've been blowing my nose non-stop. can't seem to get rid of this cold.
i can't let that stop me from creating. working on project 11 now, and need to catch up to project 12. this has been a great holiday weekend.

i haven't posted in a few weeks and that's terrible! i've been pretty busy these past couple of weeks! and i'm so happy to be blogging right now because i am sharing some things (exciting things) with you!!! this might help you to understand why i haven't blogged in such a long time.

here is a layout a did a while ago!
so far elsie's online class is fantastic!! it's so inspiring!! i've been so busy making the projects she has given us! everday i look forward to a new challenge. i have never done an online class, but this has been very fun. all of elsie's directions are very detailed with what you need, and how to do it. i am learning so many different things about ART, and CREATING. (a shout out to Elsie)now with the thanksgiving break, i can do some more creating!

fun & exciting news

yesterday, was tacky day at my school! so yesterday morning my friends called around 6:45 a.m. (a little too early for me)!! my phone was as loud as it possibly could be. when i heard the phone ring, i woke up with fright! my friends said that they would be coming over in ten minutes, so we could get all dressed up! then another one of my friends (who lives in the neighborhood) called to say that she would be coming over, too! it was lots of fun getting dressed up weirdly! this is how we ended up looking like! HA we look so funny!!

i had an awesome Halloween with my close friends! i didn't get much candy though, since no one was home or that they ran out of candy! :(

i didn't get a picture for what i was wearing (so sorry), but i was a pirate! aaarrgh

another thing, earlier this week i was surprised!!!!
when i heard that Elsie was having her first online class, i had to sign up! i was thinking that whole week if i would be able to join the class with school on the other hand.
one day while i was at school my mom signed me up for her class!! everyday when i get home from school i check my e-mail. so while i checked i saw an e-mail that i received from Elsie Flannigan!! i didn't know why she would be e-mailing me, i was kind of confused! i scanned through it and she gave me all the information about her class! now I'm sooo thankful! i can't wait until Nov. 10! just nine more days!!

everyone was asking me, when are you going to post? so i thought i might as well. yes, i do have a lot to share with you all since it's been twelve days!

1. ok,........here are some pictures of a creepy house, my house!!! HA
like i said in my previous post, my family is into decorating for halloween.
somebody call an exterminator!!!

2. last week i received two packages in the mail (not very normal)!! the first package i opened was from my Aunt Lisa! she gave me the coolest leggings in the world, as well as a scarf (Hurley)!! they are sooo me!!
the other package was from Miss Elsie Flannigan!!! it was her amazing art!!! i bought it from her etsy. it's special to me and i'll be framing her work!!

happy october! october=halloween!! i can't wait to help decorate the house. please be prepared when you see the pics of our decorating. you see...some people like to decorate using fall colors, but not my family. It pretty much turns into a haunted house. i will post pics for you all to see later this week.

a tangled mess!

my solution for a tangled mess was to get it organized!
am i the only one that has embroidery floss bundled up all the time?! I almost gave up on using it as an embellishment on my scrapbook pages! it just wasn't worth it for me to sort through the colorful mess!

yes, this is what i had to dig through! stacked up tall, or in a container...these pretty colors mixed with antique wood makes me smile :D there is no end to keeping this collection from growing bigger. there are so many things to create including organizing your personal stash. keep your eyes open when shopping garage sales, flea markets....it's true when they say, "other peoples' trash is your treasure."
today is the last day of september, and that just flew right by. i am lookin' forward to october.......fall leaves, cooler temperatures, and time change will inpire me in a new way.

a fresh, new week

MONDAY! it's a new week
lately all i've been wanting to do is to start being creative! this whole weekend i've been sketching. everywhere i go i look at it in a different way. i think of how i can make things into a drawing. there have been bunches of things that i want to put on paper! i'm getting ready to try them soon! not too long ago i bought new canvases and brushes! oh, that reminds me. i've been done for a long time, but i guess i forgot to share it with you all. here is my painting! what do you think, for a first timer?

i'm so glad that i completed this painting! ever since this experience, i'm hooked on this new hobby! now i just want to paint some more! (that's the whole reason i'm sketching things)

my girls! i really enjoyed drawing them. they were very fun! :D (i'll try new styles too)

My new and improved glasses!!! hmm...what do ya think? it was amazing, i put them on and i felt like i was wearing 3-D glasses! walking around i was reading things from far away!! it was like a miracle! i'm so glad i can see again! Now i'm really looking forward to school. i love school!!!!
okay, that's all i did today.
BUT WAIT there's more! once again, driving down a country road we see this pasture of tall grass getting raked by tractors. my mom pulls over and tells me to hurry up and run through the tall grass before the drivers of the tractors could see us. my mom really loves her camera, she brings it everywhere she can. kinda like me with my ipod, right? here are some pictures she took (we really only had 3 minutes to shoot away)
i hope i get some new pictures developed so i can concentrate on what i really enjoy doing...SCRAPBOOKING!

Okay....after a rough week of school, there is nothing like a relaxing weekend. I spent Friday night with my friends at a football game. Early the next morning my mom got the itch to go flea market shopping! That makes two weekends in a row. I think it's time for a break! After the flea market, it was our mission to get my prescription glasses, that are long overdue. You would think that picking out glasses wouldn't be so difficult, but it is. After 7, yes SEVEN eyeglass stores, we FINALLY found a pair that suits me. They will be ready for me tomorrow. My mom told me to still remain seated in the very front of the class. I sat there because of my vision being difficult to see the board. I don't mind wearing glasses, i think they add a little spark to my personality. (STAY TUNE FOR THE REVEAL)

yesterday was a busy day. we went to get my brother some skates for hockey early in the morning. then we dropped him off at his practice, my dad and little brother were there to watch. after that we went to an eyeglass store.
now that's because two nights ago i was at a friends party. i set aside my phone and glasses. i guess someone accidentally knocked them down on the concrete. i was so mad!! i picked them up right away when i saw them laying there. they had scratches everywhere. also the arm broke off. the eyeglass store said they were unrepairable! so now i'm trying to decide if i should get contacts or not?!
later on my mom had a return to do, we drove to the mall and we ended up there for three hours! as usual it was very fun! oh and of course i had my camera! we were headed to the store, but on our way there we were really trying to look for something we could take a picture of, hehe!
the first store we went to was anthropologie! we love that store, it is so vintage. well we were walking around, and i spotted a couple of things that were so inspiring to me. when i was walking around the corner *taking off the flash* a lady who worked there said that they don't allow photography! WHAT!!?! are you kidding NO photography, but it wasn't that bad. here are the pictures i was able to snap, before i was asked to put away the camera.
these are the pictures i took in anthropologie. i love the big clock! very circular

i loved the lamp shade, it had ruffles at the bottom as you can see, and it is green. my favorite color!
how cool is that? it was amazing! for sure that is the coolest light fixture i've ever seen!
now this blew me away!! this was the display in the window. for the lamp shade the tore out pieces of paper and covered the original shade! and to the right of this picture you will see bunches of books curled up to make flowers! so so so so neat!

how cute is that poster on the door? the little yellow pom poms caught my eye!

out of all of the things i saw in that store this was my favorite!!! i loved how they set it up! also i love that orange color on the vintage typewriter.

ARE YOU JOKING? look closely at that price for Havianas (flip flops) i don't know who would buy flops for that price, i really don't!

hello.

i love to take pictures, and there is no doubt about that! so of course, how we spend some weekends, is driving around hunting for stuff that that could be a great picture! saturday, i spent most of the morning trying to finish 2 pages i started during the week. later that afternoon i hung out in my room reading some of my favorite blogs, and uploading my iPod. then all of a sudden it was sunday, saturday went by so fast. sunday we drove around with the whole family. my dad is a cyclist so he always brings us to the beautiful views he sees. he drove us to such a pretty place, it was a quiet, peaceful place. on one side of the road, there was the red barn and on the other was a field of wild flowers! my mom pulled me right out of the car! *click, snap, clickety click*

the pictures MY MOM and i took turned out really well, here are just a few i'm sharing.
later sunday, my mom and i decided to just be silly girls...(obviously the boys weren't home) moral: you're never too old to play dress up! ;D

funny huh? that is just how we are with no boys around!

Earlier today i was thinking of what my next post was going to be. just now i was browsing through my pictures, and spotted something i could share today!

About last week, i FINALLY went to work *painting*. it was late at night when i came to a stopping point. i had some paint left, and my mom did not want to waste it. she came up with something creative! these pictures always make me smile! hope you like them!

i was waiting patiently to see what she was up to. "DONE" she said, i ran over to the mirror and.....TAH DAH!!!!!! as you can see, my mom went a tad crazy!!! more like a lot!! this is what happens when you have left over paint! YIKES!! right away she took out her camera and wouldn't stop snappin'!
now i know never to let my mom paint my face!! i must admit, it was very fun! i enjoy every thing we do together!
uh oh.............. i've been framed!!! for sale (NOT)! this is my favorite photo she took, i love all the shadows and the angle.
i love to pose for my mama!
i really enjoy painting now! i always find things that give me inspiration, and then i sketch it out.

I'm so happy and thankful that it's September. you know what that means.... the season fall!!! i absolutely love fall. of course everything about it: the temperature,the colors,the unique fashions,jumping in HUGE leaf piles. i just can't wait for all that to start again!

on Saturday my mom and i went driving around to take some photos. we got some, but not a lot. afterwards i asked if we could go to the mall, and my mom couldn't resist.
first stop H&M- we went there to get myself some T-shirts for school. my mom ended up getting a big, black ring. me? i got two shirts and cute earrings!

i love the color and design!

i really wanted that hat for winter, it was so comfortable. but i already have a few winter hats, so i think i'm good.

the next stop, Lucky Brand Jeans- all we bought there was the cutest necklace ever!!! we got it for half off! we're both going to share it, because it's so cute on!
this is the back of the necklace, there are so many details. all the details make it gorgeous!!

oh i have to share this. on our way walking out of the mall, we past by J.Crew and in the window was an amazing site!! i hurried up and took pictures of it.

is that not cool? they made roses out of packaging paper! i have to try that one time! that gave me total inspiration!
i had such a great time with my mom! hope we can do that again sometime!

i have a quick post to share. i'm so glad that i officially finished a page last night. it took me a few days with all those interruptions (you know, like brothers in my room, and piled high schoolwork). i've been dying to try this idea out that i've had in my mind for sometime, and now i got to put it on paper! of course i will share it!! it started off as my mom thinking the photo was a throw away (blurred picture), but i knew i could make something out of it. and this is how it turned out.........

i used Love, Elsie paper (fabric). it was so much fun to cut stuff out. i think all the bright colors is me! i'm just happy that i finished it!

country ride

HAPPY SATURDAY!! i am so happy it's the weekend, i got caught up on my sleep and now i can just relax.
Earlier today, my mom and i went hunting for garage sales. We drove on some pretty country roads. After driving around for an hour, we decided to give up.
It was a great country ride passing small houses, cows, and horses. i got some pictures of one horse. my mom tried to pet it, and i guess it got scared (so did my mom, she ran off screaming).
a few hours later, we went to the movies to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. whew that movie was LONG! i couldn't keep still after a while, but it was worth it. i really liked it! the negative part about it was there were these girls right behind us that wouldn't stop talking, and laughing.

OMG i was so close to that horse, as you can see. it was huge!! one of the largest I've ever seen! *no joke*

my mom and i were scrapbooking all last night, we started right when i came home from school. when we looked at the time it was 11:30, time flew by for us! we both went to bed around that time, and i am very,very tired! eleven thirty is far too late for me, i have to wake up early every morning! I'll be going to bed pretty soon (i need to catch up on my beauty sleep, LOL)!:D

school has made me so busy, i still haven't painted yet like i said i would & the page i finished last night took me 2 weeks to finish! that's not like me, i think it's because everything on my mind with school going on. I've had a few ideas, for some more pages, but they might take a while! i really don't even know if i will get ONE page done with school everyday! at least tomorrow is Friday!! I'll scrap as much as i want tomorrow. just one more day til the weekend!

Yesterday i went to the flea market with my Mom and Ms. Jen. It was quite an experience. We thought the flea market closed at six o'clock, but it turned out it closed at five o'clock. We were literally were digging through people's boxes!

I found a really neat desk, that i really want for my room, but i just don't know where i would put it. I have a pretty small room, it might take a little rearranging.

Well later on we hit the jack pot! I've been wanting antique jars to put some embellishments, and ribbons in them. (it will go with my room)
We got about eight, and that is plenty for right now! so when Ms. Jen dropped us off at our house, we went right to work. It was so much fun organizing every thing!

I realized I didn't have a place for my new finds. My mom suggested clearing everything off my shelves. I got the hint that we were going to place them on my shelves. I like the way the colorful jars turned out. We just need to buy a few more jars, and that's it. That was $20 well spent!!!!

Well you know, no post is completed with out some pictures. it's just no fun!!

Hi there. A couple of days ago I went to a craft store for some scrap booking supplies. Instead of scrap booking tools, i got two small canvases and some acrylic paint. I've been wanting to try painting for a while, and i'm so happy i get to try this new hobby out. These past few days i've been sketching things out. After like 20 sketches i finally decided on the sketch i will be painting!!! (it really is a picture of me, but in a drawing)
